CushmanDescription: Window replacement is requested for several reasons: 1) there are 2 different kinds of windows in the house currently - original wood and aluminum. I'd like to update the windows to be consistent throughout the home. I plan update the aluminum windows to match the style (double hung or with divided light upper sash as in the front wood windows etc...). I plan to keep the original wood trim on the outside of the house (repairing as needed due to wood rot mostly on the south side of the house). 2) the bid I received for restoration of the original windows was far too high for me to be able to afford and in addition change out the aluminum windows to match.
