Description: This request is to remove a single tree at the rear of our home. We consider this tree to be hazardous and unsafe. Upon purchasing the single family residence located at 660 wilson road on october 30th 2009 my wife became concerned about the proximity and angle in which a large oak tree is located at the rear of our house. In recent weeks large limbs have fallen from the tree and caused damage to the roof. After speaking with our new neighbors they informed us as did the seller of the home that approximately 4 years ago a 15 diameter limb (estimated at 60 feet in length) fell onto the roof causing several thousand dollars in damage upon further inspection we have found that the base of the tree is ~5-5.5 feet from the brick foundation at the rear of our home. We have also found that during our home inspection the home inspector found evidence of the subject tree's root system penetrating the foundation.
